Brefig tries to find the right balance between respect, equality and civility as the principal values of coexistence in a city by means of proposals and cultural manifestations such as dance, music and other activities that come out of the relationship between people and urban spaces all with the same common denominator: Hip Hop.

Brefig is an independent organization of young people that is self-governed and receives no financial help from any institution or government agency. They are committed to all that is intercultural, as well as to social exchange and learning to achieve a harmonic coexistence based on the respect of different identities. Brefig is closely linked to the Moroccan culture that lives in the city of Figueres and struggles for its integration.
